Special positions are available on a 6x, 8x or 10x Full-Page 4-Colour series only. Contact the publisher for space availability. The publisher reserves the right to select ad location unless a 20% surcharge is paid.

Insertions
For a full mail run, you are charged the black and white rates when inserts are furnished complete, in accordance with mechanical specifications.
Backup charges for inserts:

Requirements for Positive film
Please provide ready-made positive film, and colour proof (if coloured advertisement). The publisher will not accept responsibility for colour of printed advertisement if colour proof is not supplied. Film has to be emulsion side down, right side reading, with a dot/line screen of 150.

General rate policy
Advertising copy subject to acceptance by publisher. Advertising not easily distinguishable from editorial must be labelled "Advertisement". General law applies.

Acceptable material
Original artwork and colour transparencies or colour separated film positives.

Publication, closing and distribution dates
Publication date is the 3rd week of the issue month. Distribution date will be within 30 days of publishing date.
Closing date for orders and completed advertising material is 1st of the month preceding issue date. Advertising materials requiring composition or mechanical work are due 7 (seven) days prior to closing dates.

Production charges
Typesetting, photography, artwork and colour separation will be charged at the trade rates.

Payment terms
Credit accounts are strictly nett and to be settled within 30 days after publication. A cash discount of 5% of the nett amount is allowed when full payment is received before publication. This discount is not applicable for advertisements placed through an advertising agency.

Commission
15% commission to bona fide advertising agencies providing artwork and film. Commission applies to space, position, colour charges and insertion only.

Reader enquiry card
Advertisers who do not want enquiries should specify 'No Reader Service Number' on contracts and insertion orders. Otherwise, it is assumed that the advertiser will fulfill the obligation of responding to all enquiries.

Cancellation
A contract may be suspended or cancelled with a 21 days' written notice, and the rates will be adjusted to that earned by actual number of insertions on the last invoice due.

Insertion
All supplied insertions should be shipped folded and ready for insertion. Inserts should be printed on uncoated paper not exceeding 85 gsm, up to and including 2-page inserts. A non-commissionable premium per page will be charged for inserts exceeding maximum weight. Contact the publisher for insertion exceeding 2 pages.
